Did some laundry last night. That same weird lady followed me out of the laundromat again mumbling “unbalanced load, too many socks,” or something like that. Oh, wait, this is not the laundry journal!
Okay, so we played at Books and Co in Oconomowoc (spell that ten times fast), and the lady from the laundromat followed us in, mumbling… alright, there was no weird lady, just a room full of nice and attentive music fans hanging on our every word. I’m getting to like these acoustic shows.
We also recently played the Higher Grounds Coffeehouse, held in the beautiful sanctuary of the Living Waters Church in Sun Prairie. We were blessed with a nice crowd, great behind-the-scenes people (thanks Jay and Brian!), and the quick wits to edit some of our “adult” lyrics for the all-ages crowd. Adult lyrics? Amy and Dan?
